1. What is a Resolution® compatible toner cartridge?

It is a re-manufactured toner cartridge that is backed by the same 100% guaranteed as new cartridge. It is fully rebuilt with new components.

2. What is the difference between OEM and re-manufactured cartridges?

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) cartridges are brand new toner/ink cartridges bearing the original brand names, such as HP™, Lexmark™, Brother™, or Canon™, etc. Re-manufactured cartridges are an economical alternative to expensive OEM cartridges. These cartridges are re-manufactured and recycled to meet OEM specifications of quality and reliability. Re-manufacturing involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing components, reassembling and filling with toner. Once the re-manufacturing process is complete, the cartridge is then inspected, print tested, sealed, and packaged.

3. Are re-manufactured cartridges inferior to new ones?

No. There should be no difference in the print quality or page yield of a re-manufactured cartridge. JMD uses only graphics quality toner and replacement parts that meet or exceed the OEM standard.

4. What are your hours of operation?

5. How does compatible cartridges help the environment?

Manufacturing compatible cartridges reduce the amount of Non-Biodegradable plastics in landfills. Additionally, the manufacturing processes used to create new cartridges depend heavily on fossil fuel. That is why the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has recommended the use of compatible cartridges for many multi-national companies

6. Am I really helping the environment by purchasing compatible cartridges?

Definitely. Each discarded empty laser printer cartridge adds approximately three pounds of waste to our landfills that will take as long as 10 centuries to decompose. It is estimated that 100 million laser toner cartridges and 400 million inkjet cartridges are produced worldwide each year. Manufacturing these 500 million cartridges will save an estimated 4 million cubic feet of landfill space. The office products manufacturing industry has made and will continue to contribute a substantial positive input upon the environment and the economy wherever it exists.

7. Is there a downside to re-manufactured cartridges?

No. Using re-manufactured cartridges saves money, helps preserve the environment, provides a high quality product, and helps support local employment.

8. Do you have any product guarantee?

We guarantee that our products will perform to our customer’s satisfaction.

9. What is the proper way of handling and storing cartridges?

Cartridges should always be handled with care. Do not touch the nozzles or the chips. You should keep your cartridges in the protective wrapping until you place them in the printer. Store your cartridges in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight and avoid extreme temperature changes

10. Is delivery free?

YES. JMD International Corporation offers free delivery within Metro Manila area and nearby provinces.

11. Will the use of re-manufactured cartridges void the warranty of my printer?

No. It is illegal for a printer manufacturer to require you to use or purchase a particular brand of a cartridge.

12. Do you offer services and repair?

YES. We offer services and repair as well as preventive maintenance service for Free when you use JMD Resolution® Toner and Colors® ink cartridges. (Please see Services)
